Pick high-leverage use cases and sequence them
Score candidates on impact, feasibility, governance risk and change readiness, then start in bounded domains.
Read the full lesson and take the quizEnterprise adoption fails when the first use case is too broad, too sensitive or too dependent on perfect integrations. Enterprises commonly do this backwards: they pick flashy use cases that need perfect integrations, pristine data and broad permissions. Start instead with bounded domains, so that each release builds platform capability, governance maturity and stakeholder trust.
Look for processes that are frequent (volume), repeatable (an SOP exists), painful (a clear cost or cycle time) and safe to constrain (a limited blast radius). A simple rubric keeps politics out of the prioritization.
